My client is known for delivering specialist structural and civil engineering solutions, particularly within bridge and concrete repair projects, and maintains long-standing relationships with key clients including National Highways.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing and managing construction contracts to ensure delivery against financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets
- Ensuring full compliance with SHEQ procedures and promoting best practice across all site activities
- Coordinating pre-contract planning and managing project resources effectively
- Maintaining and managing all contract documentation, records, and project files
- Providing accurate data for monthly contract appraisals and regional reporting
- Monitoring subcontractor performance, applications, liabilities, and payments
- Identifying tender opportunities and contributing to commercial success
- Supporting the preparation of bids, PQQ submissions, and client presentations
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the highways sector
- Strong experience in bridge repairs and concrete repair works (essential)
- Experience working with National Highways (desirable)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS Black Card
- Strong planning, programming, and organisational skills
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, supply chain, and internal teams
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing site teams and operatives
- Salary up to £70,000 (dependent on experience)
