- Contract: 6‑month rolling contract

You’ll be joining a Private Works division that has been operating successfully for over two years and is continuing to grow. With multiple schemes live at any one time, the business now needs a commercially robust QS to take ownership of CVRs, applications, and change control, ensuring projects are run efficiently and professionally. You’ll be managing 1‑3 schemes at a time, typically valued at £7‑8m, with works largely subcontracted. This role offers strong autonomy, stability, and the chance to make an immediate impact within a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of CVRs
- Pricing Bills of Quantities and private works
- Commercial management of subcontracted packages
- Managing labour, plant, and materials
- Producing and managing change control
- Ensuring monthly applications are accurate and submitted on time
- Supporting commercial best practice across multiple live schemes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or highways‑style projects
- Experience managing schemes in the £7‑8m range
