Exciting opportunity for a Site Agent in the East Midlands. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Agent to support the delivery of a busy programme of carriageway and footway works across the East Midlands. This role will play a key part in driving the delivery of highway schemes, focusing on site management, contractor coordination, and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple projects. The successful candidate will be someone who can integrate well into an existing team, bring a proactive attitude, and support the timely and safe completion of highway construction works.

Main Responsibilities of the Site Agent:

  • Supporting the delivery of carriageway and footway construction and maintenance schemes.
  • Arranging and managing traffic management (TM) on site.
  • Maintaining weekly site reporting, including progress, issues, and health & safety updates.
  • Assisting with change control processes and ensuring all updates are recorded accurately.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and contractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Monitoring progress on site and ensuring programme expectations are met.
  • Supporting resource planning and allocation across multiple schemes.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.

Key experience needed for the Site Agent role:

  • Hands-on experience in highway construction and maintenance schemes (carriageways and footways).
  • Ability to work across live sites and support external delivery.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and liaising with contractors.
  • Understanding of NEC contracts or site commercial procedures (desirable).
  • Proactive, motivated, and able to integrate quickly into a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with attention to reporting and delivery requirements.
