Looking for your next contract within housing compliance and temporary accommodation? A North East London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Contract and Compliance Officer to join their busy housing team and help ensure vulnerable residents are placed in safe, compliant accommodation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced local authority environment where your expertise in property inspections, compliance, and contract management will have a direct impact on service quality and resident wellbeing. You'll be responsible for managing a range of procurement and compliance-related duties, including carrying out pre- and post-inspections on temporary accommodation properties.
Working closely with suppliers, landlords, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure all properties meet the Council's obligations under WREN and Supplier Agreements while maintaining high housing standards across the borough.
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in housing, temporary accommodation, property compliance, or contract management, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
