A major regional organisation is seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Lead to support high-profile transport, infrastructure and strategic growth programmes across the Bristol region. You will lead communications, stakeholder engagement and public consultation activity on complex programmes shaping future transport, housing, infrastructure, place-making and economic growth. This is a high-impact role requiring strong political awareness and the ability to turn complex technical information into clear, compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead communications, engagement and consultation across major transport and infrastructure programmes.
  • Develop compelling narratives around growth, sustainable transport, infrastructure and place-making.
  • Plan and deliver public consultations, from strategy and promotion through to analysis and dissemination.
  • Build relationships with senior local, regional and national stakeholders.
  • Ensure engagement reaches diverse communities and hard-to-reach groups.
  • Advise senior leaders on communications risks, opportunities and reputation management.
