Are you an experienced Section Engineer with highways, drainage and structures experience looking for your next contract? We're recruiting for a Section Engineer to join a live highways infrastructure project in Colchester. You'll be responsible for delivering highways, drainage and structures works, ensuring quality standards are met and supporting the successful delivery of the scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering activities across highways, drainage, structures, kerbing and surfacing works.
- Complete ITPs, quality documentation and inspection records.
- Raise and manage Technical Queries (TQs).
- Support permits to dig and utility avoidance activities.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
Requirements
- Experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer on highways projects.
- Strong background in highways, drainage, structures, kerbing and surfacing.
- Experience with ITPs, QA documentation and TQs.
- EUSR CAT1 desirable.
- Experience using CAT4, vLoc3Pro or similar utility detection equipment is advantageous.
