Job Title: Junior Signalling Project Manager Location: West London - Majority Site Based Rate: Β£400/day Inside IR35 via Umbrella Contract: Long-Term Contract Start Date: November - Flexible for the right candidate
We're looking for a Junior Signalling Project Manager to support a major rail systems programme on HS2, working alongside the Lead Signalling Project Manager on a major works contract.
Where you will add value:
- Supporting the Lead Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery.
- Liaising with site teams and supporting construction activities.
- Coordinating different contractors, disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Supporting contract management, including Early Warnings and project documentation.
- Monitoring progress and understanding the commercial impact of project activities.
- Helping bring different parties together to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Supporting planning, reporting and general project management activities.
- Developing your experience towards taking on greater Project Management responsibility.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience within railway signalling and/or telecoms.
- Previous site-based railway experience is highly desirable.
- Project management or project coordination experience.
- Good understanding of contracts and Early Warning processes.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how different works interact on site.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors.
- A proactive approach and clear ambition to progress into Project Management.
The Project:
- Major HS2 rail systems programme.
- Long-term programme currently committed through to Christmas 2029, with potential for further works.
- Project commissioning targeted for Christmas 2029.
