Are you an experienced Concrete Repairs Supervisor looking to oversee specialist repair projects across the water and highways sectors? Join a growing specialist contractor. My client is an established contractor delivering concrete repairs, structural refurbishment and maintenance projects across the UK infrastructure sector. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a Concrete Repairs Supervisor to support the safe and successful delivery of projects involving highways structures, water treatment assets and other critical infrastructure. You will be joining a supportive business that prioritises safety, quality and professional development.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supervising concrete repair works across highways and water infrastructure projects.
  • Managing site operatives, specialist repair teams and subcontractors.
  • Coordinating daily labour, plant, materials and access requirements.
  • Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with risk assessments and method statements.
  • Monitoring health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Inspecting completed work and ensuring it meets the required specification.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
  • Liaising with site managers, engineers, clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Identifying site risks, delays and technical issues before they affect delivery.
  • Supporting the planning and sequencing of site activities.
  • Ensuring permits, temporary works requirements and safe systems of work are followed.
  • Monitoring productivity and reporting progress to the project management team.
  • Supporting successful project handovers and the completion of quality documentation.

Your experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience within concrete repairs, structural refurbishment or civil engineering.
  • Experience working on highways structures, bridges, water treatment works, reservoirs or other infrastructure assets.
  • Knowledge of concrete repair techniques, protective coatings and structural maintenance.
  • Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors.
  • A valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • The ability to understand drawings, specifications, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with confined spaces, water hygiene requirements, temporary works, waterproofing, resin injection or structural strengthening would be beneficial.
