Our client is delivering a major highways project in the West of England and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support delivery from an engineering point of view with a focus on commercial duties too. This is a long-term freelance role on a high-profile programme with significant regional impact.
Job Role
- Managing delivery of highways works from planning through to completion
- Coordinating engineering, commercial, and operational activities
- Managing contractual processes, early warnings, and compensation events through CEMAR
- Monitoring programme, budget, and project performance
- Leading meetings with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering highways or civil engineering projects
- Strong engineering background
- Previous Project Management experience within NEC contract environments
- Good working knowledge of CEMAR and commercial processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant industry qualifications including SMSTS and CSCS preferred
