Looking for a long-term rail commercial contract where you can take ownership of major NEC rail projects within a growing and flexible business? This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a portfolio of rail infrastructure projects, including a £3m Access for All design & build scheme and a long-term ticket validator and gate programme running through to 2027/2028.
Where you will add value:
- Managing commercial activities across NEC rail infrastructure projects
- Supporting delivery of NEC Option A lump sum contracts and wider framework schemes
- Managing valuations, variations, subcontract management, and cost reporting
- Working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery
- Supporting commercial governance across civils, structures, and rail projects
- Providing accurate commercial reporting and cost control throughout project lifecycles
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail, civils, or structures
- Strong NEC contract experience, particularly NEC Option A and/or Option C
- Contractor-side experience preferred
- Ability to manage projects through the full commercial lifecycle
- Rail infrastructure project experience highly desirable
