Capital Works Project Manager \\nReading Civic Offices (Hybrid Working*) \\n£(Apply online only)p/d Umbrella Rate (INSIDE IR35) \\n3 Month Initial Contract (with a view to extend) \\n \\n*Site visits required to meet contractors, in Reading up to 2 days a week\\n\\nReading Borough Council require project management support for its ambitious new build program during a period of reduced capacity. The role involves managing multiple capital projects (up to 5 at a time) ranging in value to several million, requiring strong prioritisation skills. \\nWe need an experienced Project Manager to assist support their line manager in overseeing programmes, liaise with contractors and stakeholders, coordinate community engagement, maintain accurate project records, and ensure timely payments and financial tracking.
\\n \\nKey Responsibilities \\n·Manage and deliver capital projects across the Council. \\n·Coordinate community consultation and engagement activities. \\n·Prepare and manage a programme of capital works.
