Responsibilities- Leading transport planning inputs for a wide range of development and infrastructure projects
- Preparing, reviewing and signing off Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and Technical Notes
- Providing clear, confident technical advice to clients, local authorities and key stakeholders
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping to develop their skills and confidence
- Managing project programmes, workloads and contributing to fee proposals and business development
- Working closely with engineers, planners and other disciplines to deliver coordinated solutions
- Proven experience in transport planning within a consultancy or local authority environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK transport planning and the development planning process
- Experience producing and reviewing transport planning reports to a high standard
- Confidence communicating with clients and negotiating with local authorities
- The ability to manage your own workload while supporting and guiding others
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience (working towards or holding professional accreditation is beneficial)
