Are you an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience delivering railway building services projects? Do you have strong working knowledge of JCT contracts?
Location: Cambridge - 4-5 days site based
Day Rate: £(Apply online only)/day Outside IR35 - Paid Ltd
Contract Length: 18 Months
This opportunity offers involvement on a major £20m MEP package within a high-profile railway building services project in Central Cambridge. The scheme has a strong electrical focus and requires a commercially focused QS / SQS capable of supporting project delivery within a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing commercial activities across a major MEP package
- Supporting procurement, subcontract management, and CVRs
- Administering JCT contractual processes
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Working closely with operational teams to support commercial performance
- Providing accurate cost reporting and commercial control throughout delivery
Requirements:
- Experience operating as a Project QS or Senior QS within MEP / Building Services
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts
- Strong commercial reporting and subcontract management skills
- Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
- Railway building services experience
