Location: Across east areas 6 & 8
Rate: £(Apply online only) Outside IR35
Duration: 3 months
Role Requirements
- Previous experience working on the National Highways network, specifically within Areas 6 & 8, is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering structures/bridge maintenance and construction works.
- Comfortable working night shifts and weekend possessions as required.
- Previous experience working under the Structures Delivery Framework (SDF) is preferred. Candidates with experience on the former Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF) or Collaborative Works Framework (CWF) will also be considered.
- Work locations will primarily be within the Cambridge area, with additional works in Ipswich and Stevenage.
- Candidates should either:
- Be based locally to the work locations; or
- Be willing to stay in hotels during working periods in line with fatigue management requirements.
- Foremen and Engineers should be competent using computers and willing to undertake a broader site management role, including planning, reporting, coordination, and administration (similar to an Assistant/Sub Agent role).
- Contract duration is approximately 3 months (September-November 2026), with the potential for extension depending on individual performance.
