Are you a Construction Assurance Manager with experience working on large scale infrastructure projects?   Salary: £55,255 - £65,514 Number of Roles: 4 (three fixed locations, one flexible). Locations: ·Aylesbury x 1 ·Chipping Warden x 2 ·Calvert x 1   Role Overview: As Construction Assurance Manager (CAM) you are responsible for providing client-side assurance on HS2 civil engineering works. This involves overseeing contractor performance to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires an active presence on site.   Key Responsibilities: ·Review and verify the presence of contractor documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Work Package Plans (WPPs), Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs). ·Monitor contractor operations to ensure compliance with agreed safety and quality protocols. ·Identify and report unsafe practices or deviations from approved methodologies. ·Challenge discrepancies in construction processes and ensure adherence to approved plans. ·Engage with site teams to verify construction activities are performed as specified.   Required Experience & Qualifications: ·Professional Background: Candidates should have experience as Construction Managers, General Foremen, or Engineers. ·Project Experience: Experience in major civils projects is required (e.g., large-scale rail, road, earthworks, drainage, airports, mechanical & electrical installations, concrete structures, track works). Experience in house building is generally not applicable to the scale of this work. ·Certifications: SMSTS and CSCS is needed ·Skills: Demonstrated understanding of CDM regulations; experience in preparing or reviewing ITPs, WPPs, CPPs, or RAMs. ·Other: A valid UK driving license with a satisfactory record is necessary. A team-oriented approach is expected.   Work Arrangement: ·A minimum of 4 days per week on site is required. ·Flexibility for 1 day of remote work may be permitted once established in the role. ·A company pickup truck will be provided for site travel from the designated home office and travel costs to other sites will be covered
