Carrington West is working with a client for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for works in the highways sector, based in Luton. The successful candidate will support the Lead QS, monitoring all costs and maximising value across all projects. Upon joining the client’s Luton based team you can expect a high degree of autonomy and exceptional standards of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead QS in monitoring costs and maximising value across all projects.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or related subject.
- Good experience and detailed knowledge of working with the NEC suite of contracts, ideally overseeing highways term maintenance works.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to go above and beyond client expectations.
- Ability to work on one’s own initiative whilst staying within existing commercial procedures.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, and completing CVRs and supervising subcontract accounts.
