Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (Civils 3D experience is a plus).
- Support the design of:
- Drainage systems (foul and surface water)
- Highways and external works
- Levels, earthworks, and site layouts
- Help prepare technical drawings for both planning and construction stages.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop practical and cost-effective design solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, clients, and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure designs comply with UK standards, regulations, and local authority requirements.
- Assist with Section 38, 104, and 278 submissions.
- Contribute to the project lifecycle from concept through to construction.
Requirements
- A recent degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); Civils 3D experience is desirable.
- A good understanding of drainage design principles, highways design, and site development.
- Familiarity with UK design standards and approval processes.
