The Community Services Portfolio is responsible for undertaking several functions through its operational section. The primary role is to assist with the Council's Arboricultural requirements, however when requested to assist with other work within Street Scene Services.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake all aspects of Arboriculture and Forestry with particular emphasis on climbing and high-level tree work operations.
- To assess trees on private land for the means of providing information required for the pricing up of external work.
- To participate in routine machinery maintenance, ensuring correct and safe use of equipment and vehicles.
