Are you a Senior Project Engineer, CRE, or Resident Engineer with experience delivering complex MEPH systems? Do you have experience within large-scale warehouses, depots, distribution centres, or operational infrastructure facilities?
Salary: £65,853.60-£77,474.40 package (depending on experience)
Location: Birmingham, 3 days in the office/site per week and remainder from home
Deadline: 4th June
This is an opportunity to join a major infrastructure programme delivering work on HS2, supporting the engineering delivery of complex buildings and integrated MEPH systems. The depot buildings are large operational facilities containing significant mechanical, electrical, pipework, pumping, and maintenance systems alongside specialist operational equipment and rolling stock interfaces.
As Senior Project Engineer, you will support the delivery, coordination, and assurance of building services and depot infrastructure works throughout design, construction, installation, and commissioning phases. You will work closely with contractors, designers, and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery across a highly integrated operational environment.
Essential experience:
- Experience delivering building services or MEPH systems projects
- Experience within industrial buildings, warehouses, depots, or operational facilities
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration
- Experience supporting construction and installation activities
- Knowledge of engineering assurance, inspections, and quality activities
- Strong stakeholder and technical coordination skills
Desirable experience:
- Rail depot or station infrastructure experience
- Experience with operational or maintenance facilities
- Resident Engineer, Design Manager or CRE experience
- Knowledge of rolling stock interfaces
- Experience across full project lifecycle delivery
