Job Role
As Associate Director, you will take a senior role within the design team, providing technical and operational leadership across a portfolio of Transmission & Distribution projects.
You will oversee the delivery of engineering and design packages, support project and programme performance, manage and mentor engineering teams, and work closely with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
The role will also involve supporting resource planning, technical governance, design quality and the continued growth of the T&D business.
Requirements
- Strong background within Transmission & Distribution design
- Ideally 5 years' post graduate engineering experience, although this is flexible for the right candidate
- Experience working within a grid-based, regulated or utility environment
- Previous experience leading or managing engineering/design teams
- Strong understanding of power infrastructure projects including substations, transmission or distribution networks
- Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and technical deliverables
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous

Salary, package and development
- £70,000 (DOE), possible flex for the right candidate
