A well-established and growing consultancy based near Tunbridge Wells is looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join at Associate Director level. With a strong foundation in social housing, the practice is now focused on expanding into their sectors – and is looking for a senior hire who can help drive this growth.

This is a key leadership role within a collaborative and supportive environment, offering autonomy to build a team, shape service delivery, and contribute to the firm\’s strategic development.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead and manage a team of Building Surveyors, mentoring junior staff and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor, with proven experience in delivering building surveying services across a range of sectors.
  • Strong network and the ability to generate new business, ideally within NHS, education, and/or social housing.
  • Leadership skills, with the desire to manage and mentor a team.
  • Commercially astute, proactive, and client-focused.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of JCT contracts, construction technology, and core professional services.
