Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Technician to join them on an ongoing contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking samples of construction materials (asphalt, concrete, soils, aggregates).
- Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to the depot in Micheldever, Winchester.
- A valid CSCS card.
- Experience in civil engineering, highways or construction at any level.
- Minor reinstatement work on the carriageway (including backfilling core holes and setting out basic traffic management under supervision).
- Training will be provided to enable the resource to undertake basic site testing, sampling and records.
- Producing asphalt laying records (recording materials information, laying conditions, temperatures etc.).
