Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Technician to join them on an ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking samples of construction materials (asphalt, concrete, soils, aggregates).
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to the depot in Micheldever, Winchester.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Experience in civil engineering, highways or construction at any level.
  • Minor reinstatement work on the carriageway (including backfilling core holes and setting out basic traffic management under supervision).
  • Training will be provided to enable the resource to undertake basic site testing, sampling and records.
  • Producing asphalt laying records (recording materials information, laying conditions, temperatures etc.).
