Assistant Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities
- You will be assisting with geotechnical site investigations, including logging soils and rock
- You will be supporting the design and delivery of geotechnical solutions for infrastructure and development projects
- You will be analysing ground investigation data and contributing to interpretative reports
- You will be working closely with senior engineers to develop your technical understanding
- You will be attending site visits across the region and liaising with contractors and clients
- You will be building a solid grounding in industry standards, best practice and health & safety
Qualifications
- You will have 1-2 years\’ experience in a geotechnical or ground engineering role
- You will hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- You will have some experience of site investigations and report writing
- You will be keen to learn, proactive and enthusiastic about developing your career
- You will have good communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team
- You will ideally hold a full UK driving licence
