Highways Health and Safety Advisor — Hampshire — 6-month contract — Rate Negotiable — Full time
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed risk assessment and method statements (RAMS) in accordance with existing corporate templates.
- Analyse and assess civil engineering activities within the highways sector and produce subsequent RAMS which reduce H&S risks to staff.
- Effective working knowledge of other relevant health and safety procedures (such as moving and handling, COSHH and HAVS).
- Experience in producing risk assessments and method statements independently.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience as a Highways Health and Safety Advisor or similar role.
- Ability to produce RAMS and assess civil engineering activities within highways.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures (moving and handling, COSHH, HAVS).
