Location: Remote

Rate: £37 p/h

Duration: 6 Months (potential to go up to 12 months)

Industry: AMP8 Wastewater

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician with a mechanical or civil engineering background to support a programme of completed infrastructure and engineering schemes attached to AMP8 Wastewater projects. This will be to assist a Design & Build contractor with multiple projects nationwide. The role can be fully remote.

The primary responsibility will be updating existing 2D AutoCAD drawings to As-Built status. Working from engineer red-line mark-ups and site documentation, you will accurately revise and maintain project drawings to reflect completed works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and amend 2D AutoCAD drawings based on red-line mark-ups.
  • Produce accurate As-Built drawings for completed projects.
  • Review engineering documentation and incorporate design changes into final drawing packages.
  • Ensure drawing standards and project requirements are met.
  • Liaise with engineering and project teams as required to clarify amendments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience using 2D AutoCAD in a civil or mechanical engineering environment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups and technical documentation.
  • Previous experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry attached to AMP6 or AMP7 projects (Desirable).
