Credit Control Apprentice to join our Finance team.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control, invoicing, payments and accounts administration while working towards a recognised
Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship .
No previous finance experience is required.
You will receive full training, ongoing support and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful, people-first business.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Managing Accounts and Pay and Bill inboxes
- Responding to internal and external queries
- Speaking with workers, clients and suppliers by phone and email
- Entering timesheets accurately onto the pay and bill system
- Checking timesheets for errors, duplication and missing information
- Investigating rate and payment discrepancies
- Reconciling self-bill invoices
- Maintaining invoice trackers and financial records
- Posting and allocating payments
- Managing your own ledger with support
- Producing sales invoices
- Flagging overdue invoices and potential issues
- Supporting the wider Credit Control team
- Helping improve finance processes
What We're Looking For
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
- A-Levels are desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation and time management
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Confidence speaking on the phone
