Highways Health and Safety Manager

• Develop and implement robust health & safety policies, ensuring all practices align with legislative requirements.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, and site inspections, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures.

• Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, and project teams to foster a strong safety culture.

• Provide expert advice on health & safety during the planning, design, and execution stages of highways projects.

• Lead investigations into accidents or incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken and lessons are applied moving forward.

• Proven track record in health & safety management within the highways or infrastructure sector.

• In-depth knowledge of UK health & safety regulations.

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is essential.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
