Senior Software Engineer (Python, Django, ReactJS) required to work for a fast growing and exciting business based in Central London. However, this role is mainly remote. We need an experienced Python Developer who is a good people person, working with client facing teams outside of Technology, and also mentoring more junior members of the team across Europe. As the company is fast growing, there will be an opportunity to move upwards at certain points throughout your journey.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop and deliver end-to-end features across the stack
- Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for new features and systems
- Analyse and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide feedback to peers during code reviews
- Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with distributed team members across multiple time zones, including offshore development teams
- Build relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries.
Experience required:
- Expert Python/Django developer with full-stack capability (ReactJS, JavaScript, PHP)
- Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices
- Solid experience with AWS cloud services and modern web infrastructure
- Familiar with distributed systems (RabbitMQ, Celery) and caching (Redis)
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and own end-to-end feature delivery
