European Finance Manager / EMEA Finance Lead required to work for a fast growing Digital Media business based in Central London.
We are looking for a relatively senior person for this position, who has circa 8 yearsβ experience and is fully qualified. The qualification is not so relevant, but the experience you have gained over the years will be. ACA is preferred but the likes of CPA, CIMA and ACCA will also be considered. You MUST have experience with NetSuite and you will ideally have experience in the following areas:
* EMEA or Global Accounting experience
* Fully Qualified Accountant
* Circa 8 years+ experience
* Media industry experience (or similar / transferable knowledge)
* Leadership skills
* Solid and proven stakeholder management skills, including facing off to a Private Equity firm
* Excellent people skills with an ability to help grow the team and attract new talent, as well as keeping the existing camp happy!
* Someone who is willing to be in the Central London office 3 days per week
* Happy with Global travel on occasions (but mainly Europe)
* NetSuite experience is ESSENTIAL
As the European Finance Manager / EMA Finance Manager, you will own financial control and compliance for the EMEA operations. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, you will oversee accounting, statutory reporting, internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
You will play a key role in scaling our financial infrastructure while partnering with regional leadership to support strategic decision making.
Duties will include the following:
* Lead and manage the financial close process across the EMEA region
* Ensure timely and accurate statutory and management reporting
* Drive regional compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
* Oversee audits, risk management, and internal controls
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Legal, HR) to support business growth
* Lead and mentor a regional accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership
