Data Insights Analyst, Power BI, SQL Server, Please Read B4 Applying! Remote Data Insights Analyst required to work for a fast growing company in Central London. However, this is a remote role and you will only have to pop into the office circa once a month. The skills re Power BI, Power Query and SQL Server are extremely important, but so is the character / personality of the individual. You MUST have strong Power BI AND SQL Server skills, otherwise your application will not be considered by our client. You, as the Data Insight Analyst, will apply your experience of driving growth through data to the company, which is fast growing and constantly ever changing. Data and technology are at the heart of their proposition and transformation. The value you will bring is key to realising the organisation’s potential. Your focus will be on the KPI’s of the business and making the data easily accessible enough for weekly board meetings, so the information can be used in order to help the overall performance of the business. In summary, we are looking for someone who has the technical Power BI and SQL server skills, great communication to be able to discuss results / findings at c-suite level and be able to go and independently investigate the meaning behind a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to report back. There are 3 things they absolutely need you to have experience of: 1. Evidence of being inquisitive. Asking for information in order to obtain the information you need to help empower your role 2. Building Reports using Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL – SQL Server skills HAVE to be pristine 3. Forecasting – having a pipeline of where the journey is going and clear visibility it is all heading in a positive direction Read on for more details… Essential * Strong data analysis experience, * Advanced technical skills including Power BI, DAX, Power Query, * Excel and other MS Office applications. * Advance SQL querying, Microsoft (SQL Server) T-SQL. * Meticulous attention to detail. * The ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally. * Team player who can work proactively and on their own initiative. * Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task. * Ability to prioritise own workload and effectively manage projects. * Some Microsoft Azure exposure.
