Infrastructure Services Analyst required to work for a Professional Services company based in the City of London. However, this will be half remote / half office based. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract. The Infrastructure Services Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of infrastructure topologies within the firm including servers, storage devices, firewalls, WAN, LAN, WIFI, Internet and unified communications. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring all devices are configured and operating in line with industry best practices and Firmwide IT policies. The individual will assist with any Infrastructure Projects, this will involve all aspects, planning, communication, implementation, and reporting.

You will have extensive experience with the likes of M365 applications and Azure IaaS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Respond to ServiceNow tickets and resolve incidents.
  • Administration and Monitoring: Administer and monitor various systems including Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMWare, VXRail, Cato Platform, Rubrik, Commvault, Juniper Mist, and APC.
  • Daily Health Checks: Perform daily health checks of infrastructure services using management platforms like SolarWinds.
  • Vulnerability Analysis and Patch Management: Analyse vulnerabilities using Rapid 7 and manage patching of servers, appliances, and switches.
  • Ticket Logging: Log tickets with MSP and providers when services are impacted.
  • Firmware Updates: Perform firmware updates for appliances like Kemp, Extreme APs, NetApp's, HP Servers, Rubrik, and Commvault.
  • Server Decommissioning: Decommission old servers as needed.
  • Documentation: Update and review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
