We are seeking an MRICS Registered Valuation Surveyor to undertake Acquisition and Right to Buy (RTB) valuations. This role is suited to an experienced valuer with strong residential valuation expertise, ideally with local borough knowledge. Part-time candidates are preferred, though full-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake residential acquisition valuations in accordance with RICS Red Book standards
  • Carry out Right to Buy (RTB) valuations for residential properties
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and compliant valuation reports
  • Use appropriate comparable evidence and professional judgement to support valuations
  • Ensure all valuations meet statutory, audit, and internal governance requirements
  • Work independently while maintaining professional standards and deadlines

Essential Requirements

  • MRICS qualified RICS Registered Valuer
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience undertaking RTB valuations
  • Experience in acquisition valuations
  • Strong understanding of residential property values

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of the borough and/or neighbouring boroughs
  • Previous experience working within a local authority or public sector environment

Working Arrangements

  • Part-time candidates preferred
  • Full-time candidates will be considered

This role requires a confident, experienced MRICS Registered Valuer with demonstrable experience in RTB and acquisition valuations, capable of delivering accurate, compliant residential valuations with minimal supervision.
