Main Purpose
To provide health & safety and CDM advice across the Council, ensuring compliance with legislation and promoting a strong safety culture.
Typical Day
- Provide CDM 2015 advice on construction projects.
- Conduct health & safety audits and inspections.
- Carry out risk assessments.
- Monitor health & safety compliance and performance.
- Develop policies, guidance and improvement plans.
- Work with contractors and project managers.
- Report findings to senior management.
- Support health & safety projects and claims.

Essential Requirements
- Health & safety advisory experience.
- Experience with CDM on construction projects.
- Experience conducting audits and inspections.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, including Maths and English.
