We are seeking an experienced Senior EHCP Coordinator to support the EHCP Annual Reviews Team in improving performance against key statutory and service KPIs. The successful candidate will lead on targeted improvement projects, manage complex EHCP casework and provide line management support to a small team of caseworkers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects within the EHCP Annual Reviews Team to improve performance and statutory compliance.
  • Initially oversee casework relating to EOTAS, CME, EHE and other vulnerable children and young people with EHCPs.
  • Lead and drive improvements in Annual Review timeliness and reduce review backlogs.
  • Monitor performance data, identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide line management, supervision and support to a small team of caseworkers.
  • Ensure EHCP processes are delivered in line with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory timescales.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience managing EHCP casework within a local authority SEND service.
  • Proven experience of leading projects and service improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing or supervising staff.
  • Strong understanding of Annual Review processes and statutory SEND requirements.
  • Evidence of improving timeliness, performance and compliance within an EHCP service.

Desirable

  • Experience working with EOTAS, CME and EHE cases.
  • Experience using Capita ONE.
