Corporate Finance Manager
Essential Requirements
- Must be a fully qualified accountant and be basically, a hands‑on technical accountant that will also have all the responsibility for all corporate finance items
- Must have sufficient and recent experience in District and Borough Councils
- For the first couple of weeks will need to be on site in Rugby probably for at least 4 days each week – so that they can understand what is going and to meet all the relevant people
- After that it will need a weekly on site presence of 2 or 3 days – depending on business need
- Inside IR35
- This is not a ‘just manage’ – it’s very many hands on
- Including responsibility for and possibly doing:
- Production of the statement of accounts
- External Audit
- VAT
- CIS returns
- Fixed Asset Register
- Accounts Payable
- Treasury Management and Banking
- Cash Flow
- Delta returns
- WGA
- Anything and everything else that needs doing
Just to be clear this is for all the normal corporate finance items, that you would expect from any District or Borough Council, and I understand that Candidates might not have all the experience that I need.
