The Support Officer role in our team is more like an office administrator role, requiring work on a variety of tasks across various projects and collaboration with different team members. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable when working on different projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Excellent time management and prioritisation of workload, with the ability to re-prioritise if new urgent requests arise.
- Supporting the delivery across several different projects.
- Setting up meetings, taking minutes, progressing actions from meetings, and providing regular communication to stakeholders.
- Coordinating activities in line with the team business plan.
- Planning and assisting in the development and staging of various events, including meetings, seminars, and briefings.
- Supporting communications and marketing activities, including through social media.
Working pattern: Full time
Working arrangement: Office base is County Hall, Chichester, with hybrid working (one day a week in Chichester and the rest of the week working remotely).
Length of assignment: Until 31 March 2026, with the possibility of extension.
This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative team on projects that make a difference in our communities. There is a regular requirement to communicate in English with members of the public.
