We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and maintenance planned projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio across North Yorkshire. The role involves cost forecasting, contract management, and ensuring value for money across all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost forecasting, budgeting, and value reconciliation
- Administer contracts and subcontracts, including change control and final accounts
- Support procurement and supply chain management
- Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with governance and legal standards
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Essential Requirements:
- HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong commercial understanding of civil engineering operations
- Excellent knowledge of NEC and other standard construction contracts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire
