We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and maintenance planned projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio across North Yorkshire. The role involves cost forecasting, contract management, and ensuring value for money across all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost forecasting, budgeting, and value reconciliation
  • Administer contracts and subcontracts, including change control and final accounts
  • Support procurement and supply chain management
  • Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with governance and legal standards
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
  • CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong commercial understanding of civil engineering operations
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC and other standard construction contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire
