About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to operate within a business partnering model, providing expert advice and support to managers across a full range of employment matters. You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, delivering change programmes, and enabling managers to make informed, fair, and legally compliant decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers on employment matters
- Support and coach managers on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and redundancy
- Assist with change management activities such as restructures and TUPE transfers
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and support effective decision-making
- Contribute to HR projects and organisational initiatives
- Support the development and delivery of HR policies and training
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting managers with complex employee relations cases
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse data and present clear insights
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
Qualifications
- A Level (or equivalent) – Essential
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) – Desirable
- Degree (or equivalent) – Desirable
