  • Work Pattern: 3 days remote 2 days in the office, 35 hours a week
  • PAYE Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour
  • Main Purpose of the Role

To accurately and efficiently administer payroll and pensions for NCHA Group, ensuring payments, deductions, records and reports are correct, completed on time and comply with statutory requirements.

  • Typical Day
  • Process payroll changes, expenses, absence and statutory payments.
  • Check payroll and pension information for accuracy.
  • Complete payroll and pension reconciliations.
  • Deal with colleague payroll and pension queries.
  • Use i Trent to update records and produce reports.
  • Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll processes.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, pension providers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Key Skills & Responsibilities
  • Good knowledge of payroll and pensions administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Experience with payroll systems; i Trent knowledge is desirable.
  • Good Excel and IT skills.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and investigate errors.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
  • Keep up to date with payroll and pension legislation.
  • Support improvements to payroll systems and processes.

Essential Qualifications / Requirements

  • GCSE Math's and English (or equivalent).
  • Previous payroll or finance administration experience.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Good IT and Excel skills.
  • CIPP/payroll or finance qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • i Trent experience is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS
