Purpose

To develop and deliver specialist support/advice as part of a team of Project Directors, Managers and Officers delivering the implementation of the Renters Rights Act.

  • Provide advice and make recommendations based on up-to-date knowledge and analysis/ evaluation of information.
  • Manage escalated or complex customer issues within the relevant area.
  • Contribute to the development of service plans to meet strategic business goals.
  • Research developments in relevant area. Collate process and analyse information / data. Translate outputs into advisory reports / documents / actions as appropriate.
  • Provide project support in all areas as part of a team of Project Leads, Managers and Officers to achieve compliance with the Renters Rights Act
  • Secure and provide accurate information for monitoring purposes on a regular basis and ensure that data management systems and project documentation are accurately and regularly updated.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Experience and understandingof the Renters Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
  • Experience of project management, working to time, budget and quality in a large organisation.
  • Experience of liaising with a range of internal and external partners.
  • Experience of working with residents in diverse communities.
  • Experience of report writing and communications for a variety of audiences, demonstrating numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to set up and maintain appropriate filing systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to deliver projects and programmes.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external partners.
  • Good co-ordination and organisational skills and the ability to plan and manage workload with minimum supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, IT skills, numeracy skills.
  • PAYE: £26.04 per hour
