We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapy Practitioner to cover a one-year maternity leave for the Lead Practitioner role in the West Locality Occupational Therapy Team. This long-term complex team works primarily on major adaptations via the Disabled Facilities Grant pathway and the assessment and provision of complex equipment, including manual handling solutions, with a focus on supporting service users to remain safe and independent at home.
Responsibilities
- The role includes day‑to‑day team leadership.
- Supervision of up to three staff.
- Delivery of complex Care Act assessments.
- Ensuring professional standards and best practice are maintained.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapists.
- Strong experience in complex assessments, relevant legislation (Care Act, MCA, DFG), supervision, and manual handling.
Working Hours & Pay
- 2 days in the office, three days hybrid.
- £24.24 per hour.
