Location: District Council Office, Rotary Way, DL6 2UU

Contract: 3 months initially, with potential to extend

Working Pattern: Hybrid – office-based 2–3 days per week initially – (37 hours a week) (8:30 am till 5pm)

PAYE Pay Rate: £17.85 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a Leasehold Officer / Service Charge Officer to support the effective management of leasehold properties, service charges, and leaseholder accounts. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to leaseholders, ensuring accurate records, compliance with legislation, and timely resolution of queries.

Main Purpose of the Role

To manage leasehold accounts, service charges, and leaseholder relationships while ensuring all processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered in line with lease agreements and organizational standards.

  • Managing leaseholder accounts, service charges, and ground rent information
  • Responding to leaseholder enquiries and resolving issues professionally
  • Preparing and issuing service charge statements and related documents
  • Updating property records and maintaining accurate information
  • Investigating complaints, disputes, and service-related queries
  • Working with internal teams to support smooth property operations
