Job Title: Executive Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking an organised, professional and customer-focused Executive Assistant to support the Innovation Manager and Innovation Centre Coordinator with the effective day-to-day running of the Innovation Centre.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support, while ensuring that customers and businesses using the Innovation Centre receive a superior customer experience.
There will also be an element of supporting the Centreβs business support targets, providing administrative assistance to help the team monitor activity, maintain accurate records and achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the Innovation Manager and Innovation Centre Coordinator.
- Assist with the effective operation and smooth running of the Innovation Centre.
- Act as a professional and welcoming point of contact for customers, businesses and stakeholders.
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer service and experience.
- Respond to enquiries and provide appropriate support to customers and Centre users.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, events and other Centre activities.
- Prepare correspondence, documents, reports and meeting materials.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and administrative systems.
- Provide administrative support towards business support targets and activities.
- Assist with monitoring and recording business support activity and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Innovation Manager and Coordinator to ensure priorities and day-to-day activities are effectively managed.
- Undertake general administrative duties as required to support the wider Innovation Centre team.
About You

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident providing administrative support to managers and senior colleagues.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
- Professional and confident when dealing with customers, businesses and stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy environment.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard administrative systems.
- Experienced in administration, business support, customer service or a similar environment.
Key Skills & Experience
- Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant / Senior Administration experience.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience providing business or operational support.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.
Overall Purpose
The key purpose of the role is to support the effective running of the Innovation Centre, provide excellent customer service and assist the team with its business support objectives, ensuring the Centre operates efficiently and provides a positive experience for its customers and businesses.
