Provide personalised advice, guidance, and coaching to support individuals—particularly job seekers and economically inactive residents—in improving their confidence, wellbeing, and progression into employment, education, or training. Manage a caseload of clients and work collaboratively with local partners to deliver impactful support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one coaching sessions, creating tailored action plans to help clients overcome barriers and achieve personal and employment goals.
- Support clients with job search skills, including CV writing, applications, and interview preparation.
- Plan and deliver workshops and group sessions focused on employability, confidence, and personal development.
- Conduct skills assessments and regularly monitor and review client progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, training providers, and local services to create opportunities for clients.
- Carry out outreach activities, including attending family hubs, community events, and engaging new participants.
- Manage a caseload, maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes and progress.
- Promote services through events, partnerships, and community engagement.
- Follow up with clients post‑engagement to track longer‑term outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting individuals in employment, education, or community settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse groups.
- Experience delivering coaching or workshops.
- Good organisational and administrative skills, including managing multiple clients and maintaining records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
Additional Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Willingness to obtain an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and professional development.
- Flexibility to travel locally and attend occasional events.
