We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team specialising in communal repairs within residential buildings and shared systems. The successful candidate will have experience working on communal pipework, carrying out block shutdowns, and diagnosing and repairing leaks across multi-occupancy properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance on communal and shared building systems.
  • Perform planned and emergency block shutdowns safely and efficiently.
  • Trace, diagnose, and remedy leaks within communal plumbing systems.
  • Work on communal pipework, including shared water distribution systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Identify faults, assess repair requirements, and complete remedial works to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Minimise disruption to residents during repair and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report findings where required.

Requirements

  • Qualified Plumber with relevant industry certification/experience.
  • Proven experience working on communal, maintenance, or residential block plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of block shutdown procedures.
  • Experience in leak tracing and leak repairs.
  • Good understanding of communal/shared pipework systems.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
  • Good communication skills and professional approach when working in occupied residential environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within housing maintenance, communal repairs, social housing, or residential block maintenance environments.
  • Background in maintenance or commercial-style residential plumbing systems.
