To work as a qualified Children’s Social Worker within a frontline statutory safeguarding service, supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve safe, stable, and positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake statutory assessments of children and families where concerns about safety or welfare have been raised
- Manage a caseload of children in need, child protection, and potentially looked after children cases
- Carry out home visits and direct work with children, young people, and families
- Identify levels of risk and make informed safeguarding decisions in line with legislation and policy
- Develop, implement, and review child protection and support plans
- Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners including schools, health professionals, police, and voluntary services

- Prepare clear, accurate written records, reports, and court documentation when required
