Pay: PAYE £13.05 per hour

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Location: Community Health Business Centre, Ipswich, IP4 4ER

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working (Thursdays and Fridays mandatory office attendance)

Additional Requirements: Extra office attendance may be required during onboarding/training period

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview

This is a fast-paced, corporate-facing administrative role supporting internal teams across a large service (approximately 500 staff). You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating administrative processes, managing systems, and keeping workstreams organised, accurate, and on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a wide range of administrative activities across multiple services
  • Manage shared inboxes, respond to queries, and chase actions via phone and email
  • Organise diaries, room bookings, and internal scheduling
  • Support 29 Family Hubs with logistics including room setup, catering, and event planning
  • Coordinate operational requirements such as PAT testing, vehicle checks, IT servicing, and general facilities tasks
  • Process purchase orders, pay invoices, and maintain accurate records
  • Produce basic reports and extract data from internal systems
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook daily to support service delivery
  • Provide business support to both clinical and non-clinical teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in administration or business support roles
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Confident communicator, comfortable handling phone calls and chasing stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of data accuracy
  • Experience managing inboxes and coordinating workloads effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience using SystmOne (desirable)
