  • Keep up to date with developments in the health, wellbeing and employability sectors.
  • Work in accordance with safeguarding, equality and diversity policies and relevant legislation.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of working directly with people facing health, wellbeing and/or employment challenges. You should be confident providing personalised advice and guidance, managing a caseload and working with a wide range of partner organisations.

You will have:

  • Experience in employment support, employability, coaching, careers advice or information, advice and guidance (IAG).
  • Experience developing holistic support plans with individuals.
  • Knowledge of how health and wellbeing can affect someone’s ability to find or retain employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to tailor advice and support to individual needs.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience of partnership working and making appropriate referrals.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

A professional qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, coaching or an equivalent area is required.

A qualification in employability, health or wellbeing would be desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS required.
  • Willingness to work occasionally at evenings and weekends for events or meetings.
  • Ability to work flexibly across different locations and partner settings.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and providing accessible services to residents.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Adviser, Employability Adviser, Work Coach, Employment Support Adviser or Health and Work Coach to make a positive difference to residents by helping them overcome barriers to employment and improve their health and wellbeing.
