About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Service for our Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT). This is a senior leadership position responsible for delivering high-quality, integrated health and social care services for adults with learning disabilities.

You will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the service, working in partnership with NHS colleagues and other stakeholders to improve outcomes, reduce inequalities, and ensure services are efficient, safe, and person-centred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Community Learning Disability Service
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high performance and staff development
  • Oversee service budgets, ensuring financial control and delivery of cost improvement plans
  • Drive service transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure effective partnership working across health, social care, and external agencies
  • Maintain high standards of governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
  • Embed service user voice in service design and delivery

About You

  • Proven senior leadership experience within adult social care, health, or integrated services
