Work Pattern: 37 hours per week, (Mon- Fri)

PAYE Pay Rate: £28.79 per hour

Main Purpose

Lead and manage major regeneration, development and capital programmed, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with Council objectives.

Typical Day

  • Manage regeneration and capital projects.
  • Monitor budgets, funding and project performance.
  • Develop business cases and funding applications.
  • Meet with Welsh Government, developers, consultants and Council teams.
  • Resolve project risks and issues.
  • Report progress to senior management and elected Members.
  • Visit project sites when required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Regeneration, Surveying, Planning, Construction, Project Management or related subject.
  • Significant experience delivering complex regeneration/capital programmed.
  • Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Strong financial and programmed management skills.
  • Local government, housing, development or construction experience.
  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to speak Welsh.
